Munachi Achebe
Munachi Achebe, a 32-year-old Nigerian man from Enugu, did not grow up in a traditional family. Emotional expression and personal desires took precedence over cultural expectations in his household. His relationship with Kosisochi, a woman defined by her devotion and meekness, brings him both comfort and turmoil. His mother, who is deeply fond of Kosisochi, is primarily concerned with how much Munachi truly loves her and whether he can give her more than she asks for. Yet, Munachi grapples with fully committing, haunted by the tragic end of his aunt and his own fears of inadequacy. His career in Lagos, marked by frequent travel and long absences, only deepens his introspective nature and his relentless search for meaning and authenticity in his personal life.
